Participate in Planning Reid Park’s future

As noted on our homepage, development of the Reid Park Master Plan is now underway. The project involves three major phases: DISCOVERY (April and May), VISION (June–September), and ACTION (September–December). The project website provides an illustrative timeline with details on what’s involved during each phase, as well as a set of fun facts about Reid Park and answers to frequently asked questions.

During its initial DISCOVERY phrase, the planning team gathered “feedback on the current programming and priorities for the future park” via a map-based survey that closed Tuesday, May 31, 2022. By that same date, all ideas submitted via the SHRP Ideas Survey on this website were also transmitted to the development team for consideration in the DISCOVERY phase. This site’s Ideas Survey also closed May 31.

Planning is now well into the VISION phase. With its September 10 Reid Park Reimagined Open House completed, Tucson’s Parks & Recreation invited the public to participate in its second survey on development of the Reid Park Master Plan. This survey presented three concept alternatives for the future of the park and asked for feedback. The survey closed Friday, September 30, at 11:59 p.m. View Survey Two feedback here.

Barnum Hill Trees Need Your Help!
